In the final Writers Resist event before the 2020 spring primaries and the November presidential election, Writers Resist becomes Writers Attack, David St. John, Jim Natal, and Jan Wesley present notable literary voices from Southern California coming together to motivate political action and social change, readers include Doug Brown, Shonda Buchanan, Kate Gale, Brian Ingram, Dana Johnson, Casandra Lane, Suzanne Lummis, Sarah Maclay, Doug Manuel, Marsha de la O, Judith Pacht, Alicia Partnoy, Phil Taggart, Amy Uyematsu, David Ulin and Gail Wronsky, supported by The American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California, Beyond Baroque Literary Arts Center, 681 Venice Blvd., Venice, free but donations gratefully accepted, 1:00-4:00 (www.beyondbaroque.org)
