Quiet Lightning album launch: Cassandra Dallett, Baruch Porras-Hernandez, more

Turk & Divis (Evan and Miles Karp) launch the Quiet Lightning album, featuring eleven tracks of original music scored to excerpts of fifty Bay Area writers performing live in last year's Quiet Lightning show, the night will include a listening/screening party with performances by the album's contributors such as Baruch Porras-Hernandez, Margaret McCarthy, Matt Liebel, Miah Jeffra, AshleyRose Sanchez, Matt Carney, Roberto F. Santiago, Rayam Mustafa, Kristin Ten, Linette Escobar, Riss Rosado, John Panzer, Danielle Bero, Abe Becker, Cassandra Dallett, and Paul Corman-Roberts, plus open mic, sign up to read/perform during an improv set by Turk & Divis, The Bindery, 1727 Haight Street, San Francisco, free, all ages, doors open 6:00, show 7:00-10:00 (www.booksmith.com/event/bindery-turk-divis-quiet-lightning-album-release-party)
