Risa Kaparo Bon Voyage Party and Poetry Flash Benefit, great music and dancing, all genres: latin, tango, reggae, jazz, world fusion ecstatic poetry and music; surprise performers in dance, music, and poetry; musicians include Sasha Jacobson on bass, Adrian Jost on bandoneon, Mika Scott on drums, and surprise guest artists. Dancers include Andrea Fuchilieri and more special guests, brief poetry reading by Risa Kaparo, Katayoon Zandvakili, Richard Silberg, Joyce Jenkins, more, light refreshments and beverages, bring your favorite gluten free dish or bottle to share, proceeds will benefit Poetry Flash; Risa Kaparo, somatic-psychotherapist, creator of Somatic Learning, dancer, and poet is moving to Kona, Hawaii, to open a retreat center; Translucent Studios, 3095 Kerner Blvd., Suite Y, San Rafael, $20 donation, no one turned away for lack of funds, 8:30-midnight (510/499-1958, risa@somaticlearning.com, www.poetryflash.org/give)
