Tribute to Herbert Gold with Ari Gold and Ethan Gold

City Lights Books, together with Rare Bird Lit, San Francisco Public Library, and Vesuvio Café, presents "Herb Gold @ 100: A Tribute to a Life in Letters," a celebration of the life and work of San Francisco literary icon Herbert Gold (1924-2023), with the book launch of his final book, Father Verses Sons: A Correspondence in Poems, an exchange of poems between Herb Gold and his two sons, Ari and Ethan Gold; Ari and Ethan will be in conversation moderated by City Lights Books's Peter Maravelis, at the San Francisco Public Library, North Beach Branch, 850 Columbus Avenue, San Francisco, 4:00 pm PST, followed by a reception and book signing at Vesuvio Café, 255 Columbus Avenue, San Francisco, 5:30 pm; it all begins at 4:00 pm PST at the North Beach Library (More information here: citylights.com/events)
