The Mechanics' Institute invites you to celebrate Bloomsday, an annual world-wide celebration of James Joyce's groundbreaking novel Ulyssess, set entirely on one day, June 16, 1904, the evening will feature Irish music, open mic readings, and musical interludes and songs by Anne Bingham Goess and Ellen Hoffman, with singers and actors John Ilyin, Esther Mulligan, and Simon Winheld, a Bloomsday Dessert will be served and drinks will be available for purchase, Mechanics' Institute, 57 Post Street, San Francisco, $10 for members, $15 general admission, 6:00 pm PDT (Register to attend: www.milibrary.org/events/bloomsday-2023-jun-16-2023)
