The Poetry Center presents poet, musician, and activist Camae Ayewa, a.k.a. Moor Mother, creating a voice and sound workshop on the theme "Anthropology of Consciousness," with local poets and artists alex cruse, Jemma Decristo, Kevin CK Lo, Tatiana Luboviski-Acosta, Leila Weefur, and Zêdan Xelef, followed by a performance of the new work they created together, audiences are welcome to observe the workshop prior to the performance, The Lab, 2948 16th Street, San Francisco, free, workshop begins at 7:00 pm PST, performance and talk begin at 8:00 pm PST (RSVP to attend: poetry.sfsu.edu/event/moor-mother-anthropology-of-consciousness-with-local-guest-poetartists)
