The Southern California Poetry Festival continues with workshops by Errant Press and poet Brendan Constantine, a showcase of independent presses featuring Moon Tide Press, with Kelsey Bryan-Zwick, Gustavo Hernandez, and Ellen Webre; Nightboat Books with Angel Dominguez, Carlos Lara, and Jackie Wang; and Kundiman with Kien Lam, Cynthia Dewi Oka, and Dorothy Chan; a reading by poets Anthony Cody, Omar Pimienta, Vanessa Angélica Villareal, and Sehba Sarwar, examining the poetics of borders and migrations, and a special reading with Pulitzer Prize finalist Mai Der Vang, Yellow Rain, joined by National Poetry Series winner Jos Charles and poet Kazim Ali, co-presented by Beyond Baroque Literary Arts Center and the Poetry Foundation, Beyond Baroque, 681 Venice Blvd., Venice Beach, Los Angeles, free, 11:00 am-8:00 pm PST (RSVP to attend: www.beyondbaroque.org/calendar.html)
