Poet, literary scholar, and KPFA "Cover to Cover," host Jack Foley receives a silver medallion as part of the K.M. Anthru Literature Prize from the online/print magazine, LITTERATEUR RW, edited by Shajil Anthru; the award will be presented to Foley by the Indian-American film actor, writer, activist and producer, Thampy Antony Thekkek, speakers also include Paul Veres (reading statement by Iván Argüelles), Christopher Bernard, Deborah Bachels Schmidt, Nina Serrano, Joyce Jenkins, Dana Gioia, Jack Foley and Sangye Land, catered by Vu Tang of Nong Thon Restaurant, The Fireside Room, Unitarian Universalist Church of Berkeley, 1 Lawson Road, Kensington, free, masks and proof of vaccination required, 2:00-4:00 pm PDT
