The San Francisco Chronicle presents a multimedia evening of poetry, song, art, and literature honoring the life and words of Lawrence Ferlinghetti, the late San Francisco poet, activist, and co-owner of City Lights Books; among those participating are the new San Francisco Poet Laureate Tongo Eisen-Martin and former San Francisco Poet Laureate Jack Hirschman, Gary Kamiya, Spirits of San Francisco: Voyages Through the Unknown City, musicians Lane Murchison, Allison Lovejoy and the Quivering Fringe quartet, free, online, 5:30-6:30 pm PDT (Register to attend: sfchronicle.com/tribute)
