Celebrating an Evening with Al Young, a tribute to the acclaimed poet, writer, educator, and California Poet Laureate emeritus, hosted by Kim McMillon, Jack Foley, and San Francisco Poet Laureate Kim Shuck; a collaborative poem is being created especially for this celebration of Al Young, if you wish to add a line or two to this collective effort, please email your contribution to Jack Foley (jandafoley@sbcglobal.net); the poem begins with the line, "Al is great"; there are also plans to publish a chapbook in honor of Al, to contribute a poem, email Jack Foley, Koret Auditorium, San Francisco Main Library, 100 Larkin Street, San Francisco, 6:00-7:30 (sfpl.org)
